Head and hands assignment for digital painting! This was was a SERIOUS challenge! Painting skin in grayscale at first seemed like a really weird thing to me but the result was worth it. I really like how the skirt came out as well. If I had more time on this, I would definitely change the hair, and I would have chosen something a bit more creative. I was kind of strapped for time and settled for this lady. I love character design, but I didnt really stretch my chops with this one. Next assignment is a monster though so I wont make the same mistake again! The background kind of reminds me of the "40 year old virgin" poster...
